Costa Rica: Where Heaven Meets Earth

A Perfect Combination of Attributes

We looked at many other Latin American countries before we settled on Costa Rica for a variety of reasons. First, the sustainability measures taken to ensure continued eco-tourism is a big draw as we feel Costa Rican tourism will continue to thrive regardless of world circumstance. The absence of a military helps the country feel free and liberated rather than contained. The social net for Costa Rican citizens, though flawed in many ways, does provide basic healthcare and support to the population. Costa Rica has been deemed one of the best travel destinations in the world many times, and there's a draw here. Also, though there's water problems the country (not enough water and too much water), the central Pacific where we are located has enough but not too much. Food grows easily and everywhere and there's plenty of fresh water. Plus, the waves are super fun.
